Bad, Bad Chickens!

So the other day I decided to plant some violas in some of my old work boots. I love recycling things, and my old worn out work boots make the perfect planters. I'd been planting impatiens in them (see above photo), but decided to change this year.
Here's a before photo of what they looked like:

These were inside our fenced dog yard. Silly hens...no plant is safe.
